7th Framework Programme of EU:

Health-NCP-NET
The objective of this project is to reinforce the network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for the health-related research areas and the Health theme under the Seventh Framework Programme by promoting transnational cooperation. This transnational cooperation is extended to officially appointed Contact Points in International Cooperation Partner Countries, and other third countries Contact Points are not excluded. The network will assist NCP and potential applicants to adapt to the new health issues in the Seventh Framework Programme. Special attention will be given to helping less experienced NCPs rapidly acquire the knowledge accumulated in other countries.

MIRA
Its main objective is thus to create a coordination instrument between activities of different EU and MPC institutions that would contribute to the implementation of the European Neighbourhood Policy. In doing so, it is expected that this instrument would permit to gradually enhance the EU-MPCs cooperation and thus follow the MoCo recommendations to increase and improve the participation of the MPC stakeholders in the 7th FP. The realisation of this objective is based on a series of policy tools that will be fed the EU-MPCs cooperation, enrich the existing S&T cooperation policies, support the existing Information Points, promote the participation of research centres and companies from the MPCs in the FP, monitor the development of the participation of the MPCs in the FP7 and identifying the common priorities of research
Euromedanet2
Its aim was:
To reinforce and consolidate the research system in the countries of our partners in order to facilitate their involvement in the opening-up of the European Research Area in the Mediterranean Area
To support the preparation of future activities of the Med countries related to the ERA and the FP6, as well as the exploitation, assessment and/or broad take-up of past and present programme results
To strengthen the co-ordination and complementarity with activities carried out by means of Community foreign policy instruments (MEDA, EUMEDIS)
ERAMED
· Its aim was to ensure continuity between FP6 (a four-year programme which concluded at the end of 2006) and FP7 (which was launched in January 2007 and will run for seven years) by further integrating the research potential of the Mediterranean region. it was build on the achievements of previous initiatives funded by the European Commission, such as the EuroMEDANet and EuroMEDANet2 projects , which stimulated the participation of the MPCs in EU-funded R&D research
Ideal-ist
· Ideal-ist reduces the barriers faced by organisations wishing to participate in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) programme by offering transnational partner search. The project provides an entirely web-based platform and thus making it the ideal tool for:
· joining ICT projects
· finding partners for your project idea
· finding services to support you in your ICT project within the Seventh European Framework Programme.
Newcomers, especially SMEs and potential participants from non-EU countries are faced with problems in participating in Framework projects. It has been noted that the most successful proposers are those with previous project experience. There is a high initial obstacle to participation that is a combination of lack of experience and a lack of contacts and awareness. Once this threshold is crossed and an organisation paricipates in a fundet project, many of the barriers to future participation are considerably reduced. It is addressing this threshold that is in essence the main objective of Ideal-ist.

PROMEDAccess
· The PROMEDAccess project aims to increase the involvement of universities and institutions in Mediterranean Partners Countries (MPC) in actions open them under FP7 framework programme (7th FP) for research, technological development and demonstration activities such as Marie Curie actions (mobility programmes), FP instruments and higher education programmes.it pursues this overall objective by setting up guidance units within the institutions attempting to identify centres of excellence within MPC together with any objective obstacles to the MPC participation that are linked to the eligibility criteria.
FOOD-N-CO
· FOOD-N-CO aims to improve the quantity and quality of participation from International Cooperation Targeted (INCO) Countries as partners in all types of instruments, in Food Quality and Safety related research in the 6th and 7th EU Framework Programme (FP6 and FP7). This overall objective will be achieved by three major lines of activities:
· Capacity building and supporting a network of the Contact Point, in a number INCO targeted Countries
· Intensifying relationships between the European National Contact Point Network and Contact points in 3rd countries, and
· Supporting the research communities in INCO-targeted Countries with tailor-made information and services.
